Rome's ultimate symbol, a masterpiece of the imperial age.

The Colosseum is the largest Roman amphitheatre ever built and the ultimate symbol of Rome, inaugurated between AD 70 and 80 under the Flavian dynasty. It is part of the Colosseum Archaeological Park together with the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, forming a complete ancient-Rome route across arenas, tiers, and underground passages.
